Dr. Teresa Daniele

Dr. Teresa Daniele has been delivering expert cardiovascular care to patients in the Central Valley since 2013. Currently serving as the President and Northern Governor of the California Chapter of the American College of Cardiology, Dr. Daniele is also a former Clinical Professor of Medicine at UCSF and the past Chief of Cardiology and Program Director at UCSF Fresno. Specializing in Cardiovascular Disease, Cardiovascular Imaging, and Women's Cardiovascular Health, Dr. Daniele holds board certifications in Cardiovascular Disease, Nuclear Cardiology, and Echocardiography.

A champion of women's heart health, Dr. Daniele founded the Women and Cardiovascular Disease Program in Fresno. Her outreach efforts have educated high school students in hands- only CPR and raised awareness about cardiovascular disease among migrant farm workers across the Central Valley. As Chair of the Government Relations Committee, she collaborates with legislative leaders in Sacramento on bills that impact the medical field and patient care. She also partners with vascular surgeons to provide cardiovascular screenings in underserved areas throughout the region. For over a decade, she has hosted an annual Women's Heart Health Screening event, offering life-saving screenings and education to thousands of women in the community.

Dr. Daniele is deeply committed to medical education. In addition to mentoring medical students and residents, she organizes over 120 hours of continuing medical education annually for healthcare professionals. Her dedication to patient advocacy is equally impressive. Dr. Daniele has held various leadership roles with the American Heart Association’s Central Valley Chapter, including serving on the Executive Leadership Team for the Go Red for Women campaign and as President of the Board of Directors.

Recognized for her leadership and advocacy, Dr. Daniele received the Marjorie Mason Top Ten Professional Women of the Central Valley Award in 2021 and the prestigious George L. Smith Advocate of the Year Award from the American College of Cardiology. Her commitment to improving patient care also extends to research and quality improvement projects. Partnering with Community Regional Medical Center, Dr. Daniele has driven initiatives that enhance patient outcomes and elevate the standard of cardiovascular care.
